How I buy

“Every book on this stall is one I’d keep. Nee rubbish.

Stock comes from personal libraries, auctions and house sales across the North East. Each book is checked by hand: if it’s foxed, torn or stinks of damp, it doesn’t make the stall.

Prices sit at the fair end on purpose. Good books should get read, not laminated.

Book finding

Can’t see it? Just ask.

Title, author, or just the memory of a cover — I’ll hunt it down and won’t charge daft money when I find it. hello@thebookgadgie.com · @thebookgadgie
